If I had on a pink shirt, I could totally be the emoji girl haha!
Well, ladies and gents, I have successfully completed the 75 pre-licensing course that is necessary to get your Georgia Real Estate License! For the past 13.5 weeks I have been away from home on Mondays and Wednesdays and I would fall into bed around 10:45, because that is what time I got home. On the evenings where I did not have a meeting for Cancer Auxiliary or League, I would be studying. I studied at the lake. I carried around two ten pound books like my life depended on it. And I had the WORST case of anxiety since our wedding yesterday before my final.
And now its all behind me! Well, except for the state exam, but that's another animal.
So the question is, what do I do with all the time I have now???
1st thing on the agenda - join the gym! I have not been taking very good care of myself and to be totally honest, my a** is showing the extra weight I'm carrying around. We've got 81 days til Mexico and I want to feel good about myself before leaving.
2nd thing on the agenda -- yard work! Steven has done his fair share around the house, but there are a few areas where he needs my help! It is too late in the season to plant anything, but come September, I am trying my hand at some gardening! I might make two potted plants for the front door, but I'm not going to plant any beds until I can get fall into winter flowers AKA pansies.
3rd thing on the agenda -- family time! I am looking forward to having my parents over for dinner! We love it when my cousins come over for dinner too, so now I will not feel torn in between spending time with my family and spending time with my real estate books.
4th thing on the agenda -- FINISH OUR HOUSE! This is wayyyyyyyyyy easier typed than done. Basically I need to win about $2500 off of a lottery scratch off ticket haha! I have yet to find any curtains for our formal living room that I just LOVE. There is someone in Athens who has offered to make them for me and I think I am going to take her up on it. There is a fabulous place called Fabrics and Furnishings that is about 30 minutes from work and I plan on making a trip there very soon! For the dining room I am wanting just a solid panel or a simple stripe. I know this will be a work in progress, but to get the ball rolling on just about anything related to finishing the house, makes my heart giddy!
So, if you need me, I'll be in the kitchen tonight, sipping vino, trying out a new recipe and going to be at 9 o'clock if I so choose! :)
Congrats!!! So much closer to the new career! i am so proud of you.
