7 Months!

Around 6:30ish this morning I told Steven "Happy Six Month Anniversary!"........ "Babe, we've been married for seven months". Yep, married for seven months. I am guessing that I was just still sleepy and confused and that is why I said the six month thing haha! But if we're being honest here...math has never been my strongest subject ;)

No, for real I took college algebra three times. But that is neither here nor there!

Look at that.... we hadn't even been married four hours and I already mastered the "wife side eye"! Haha!

I started this post to write about what I have learned in the past seven months of marriage, but it should really be like, what don't I know about marriage and life. Each day is different and presents a new set of challenges. We are both strong-willed, independent people. We need each other, but we also need our down time. Steven is so career driven and I love it. He is preparing to take a big test in the fall which will lead to a promotion for him....then after that, he'll start his CPA. His work ambitions are what really drove my to get my real estate license, I love that he has such a great career and I want the same thing for myself. I am so lucky and blessed to have a husband who is understanding and eats leftovers (most of the time) two nights a week and goes to be without me since I am in class. He is supportive of this career move and I couldn't ask for any more than that!

If there is anything that I do know, it is that God blessed me with an amazing husband and partner. Each day my love for him grows and grows and I know that The Big Man Upstairs has a great plan for us. I get giddy inside when I think about starting a family or traveling overseas or making big life plans with Steven.

Happy seven months babe! Here's to many many more!
