Confessed while realizing that I told Steven "oh I'm going to paint that" like 10 times last night in regards to items in our house......
** Well y'all I did it! I created Cornflake her own Instagram and she "posted" her first picture this morning. I am officially off my rocker.... If you would like to follower her kitty cat shenanigans, her IG handle is @cornflakecaudell. I literally took a gazillion pictures of her this morning for her first picture, and it made me realize, I am going to have to put some thought into this! I mean if I'm going to make her "Instagram Famous" then her pictures need to be great. I'm totally off my rocker, I know.
** I have been in excel spreadsheet hell for the past week. Every year around this time, I work feverishly to do a year long expense report to give to our accountant for taxes. If I had to spend everyday in excel, I think I would shoot myself, but I have truly enjoyed working on it, I've had a purpose for the past week and I think that makes all the difference. I mean I have a purpose at work, but I have been so laser focused on this, I felt like I really accomplished something.
** I would love to put a light like this in my bathroom!! Steven's bathroom is the hall bath, its a completely neutral color scheme with whites and wood tones. As we were discussing decor, he tried to tell me what he wanted for my bathroom, and I said "no no, this is Laura Beth Land" haha! I do have to keep his wishes in mind, because my bathroom is in our bedroom. Oh, compromise!
** It's time to start training!! Yay? I am excited that I was selected in the lottery for the Peachtree Road Race, but I am not excited about training for it. This will be my third time running the race and fifth time that I was selected for the lottery! What is more patriotic than running down Peachtree street while people cheer you on in their red white and blue get-ups while bars have beer stations and hand the runners free beers as they pass :) I may or may not have grabbed cups while passing said stations!
** Originally I was going to write a post about babies today, and what has been on my mind in regards to having one, but I am kind of scared. I know there are people who read my blog who don't follow along, hell I really don't know who reads my blog because I have WAY more page views per day than I do followers haha! But, then I think to myself, should I put something THAT personal on here? But then I think, this my space I can write whatever I want to! And I go around and around and around about posts in my head. Does anyone else do this?

I love that you made Cornflake an instagram! So fun! I agree with Pinky in regards to what you share. This is your space so share what feel appropriate to you. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how the following process works but you're on my favorites tab to read daily! I'm a SC girl and a newlywed so I feel like we have a lot in common! Totally get the hesitation to over share but I say F the haters--you never know who you'll touch through your writing!
